About your coach:

Dr. Al Siebert is uniquely qualified for survivor coaching. He is the highly respected author of The Survivor Personality, is quoted by many authors and interviewed on many television programs. An ex-paratrooper with a Ph.D. in psychology, he has over 40 years experience teaching resiliency and coaching survivors. He was a volunteer rap group leader with Vietnam veterans at the Portland Outreach Center for three years. Al is known for his quiet listening, warm understanding, and practical problem solving.

Brief Biography:

Al Siebert is an ex-paratrooper with a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan. He is internationally recognized for his survivor personality research. His book The Survivor Personality was published by the Berkley/Perigee Press with a foreword by Dr. Bernie Siegel. German and Dutch language editions have been published in Europe, Russian, Hebrew and Chinese editions are in press. He has been interviewed over 150 times on television news broadcasts and was interviewed on the NBC Today Show, Oprah, and The Unexplained program.

Dr. Siebert works with many groups on how to thrive during rapid, disruptive change. He has over 25 years experience conducting workshops for corporations, health care groups, educators, and government employees at all levels--federal, state, and local. He received the Oregon Governor's Award for being chosen the "External Trainer of the Year" in 1993 and is a popular keynote speaker at professional conferences.
